SUNDAY 16TH JULY 2017
FIRST TEE: 10:00AM
2017 champion
"The Wide OPen"
craig masters
"The Wide Open" 2017 was hosted by Wigan Golf Club and sponsored by our great friends at Clarkes Golf Shops.
The event was chosen to be a medal/strokeplay event, meaning that there was even greater emphasis on accuracy and course management. Craig enjoyed a very solid afternoon with good work from tee to green and a consistency that saw him rewarded with the claret jug. Not a bad performance so far in his first season with the society and to get a Major in the bag to boot. Congratulations to Craig on a fabulous victory that will no doubt attract the keen eye of the handicap secretary! |
At Bunkers we work closely with our partners at www.teeuplo.co.uk to provide detailed reviews of all the courses we visit.

Bunkers Golf Society quite simply would not exist in its current guise if it wasn't for Chris and Dave Clarke and their unswerving support. We are eternally grateful to them for their backing and positive 'can do' attitude. Clarkes have been with us since day one, when the society was just a pipe dream in 2012 and have not only stuck with us throughout, but have walked step by step with us as we have grown into one of the finest golfing societies in the U.K Clarkes 6 stores - including their Superstore in Rainford offer the finest range of golf clothing and equipment in the North of England. Unmatched customer service and a price match guarantee, mean that they simply cannot be beaten for quality or cost. Its like golfing Christmas going into their stores - but if you haven't got the time their online store is equally as impressive. Take a visit at www.clarkesgolf.co.uk |
