reigning champion
DAN ALEXANDER
The 2017 High Tee Open was won by Dan Alexander at Ormskirk Golf Club in West Lancashire.
After joining the society last season and working extremely hard at his game - and spending vast sums of money on kit and lessons with Barry Taylor - it was reward for hard work to see Dan take the title in 2017. Throughout the round, Dan probably didn't feel he was playing brilliantly and it was reported the the odd 'tantrum' occurred. However, the thing with golf is to not play each other player, but to play your handicap and this is what Dan did. Making use of his shots to great effect. Taking home the High Tee Open trophy, our champion for 2017 is Dan Alexander with a wonderful knock of 35 Stableford Points. A great score in tricky conditions on what is a very tough course that requires good course management. Congratulations. READ ABOUT THE DAY HERE |
