the 2017 player of the season
CHRIS BERRY
The 2017 Player of the Year has enjoyed a sensational season of golf and has dropped his handicap to its lowest level since joining the society in 2013.
A Major victory in our first event of the season at Dunham Forest was the start of what was to come as he romped home with 40 points to take "The Bunkers Masters" Steady performances all year at pretty much every event he has played was followed up with another 40 point victory at Runcorn towards of the end of the season. A drop in handicap from 8 to 5 is a huge achievement - as single figure golfers will appreciated. There can be no question that he is quite simply a deserved winner of this years top award. Well done mate. |
