BUNKERS PRESENTS: THE EAGLE CLUB 2015
Below is a list of members who have played well enough, or been lucky enough, to score eagles this season
paul davies jnr
eagle - 18th hole [par 5] - breadsall priory [priory course] - 24/10/2015
The final hole on the Priory course at Breadsall Priory on Day 1 of our end of season trip. 459 yards in length and Paul ripped a driver to the right side of the fairway leaving him around 230 yards to an elevated green. With 24 lads stood at the back of the green watching the final group home Paul unleashed a majestic 3-wood that sailed onto the green, used the back-stop bank at the rear and came to a stop just inches from the hole - narrowly missing an Albatros. CONGRATULATIONS.
SCOTT SEDDON
eagle - 3RD hole [par 5] - LEE PARK GOLF CLUB - 19/09/2015
The Par 5 third hole at Lee Park was blitzed thanks to two wonderful swipes of Scott's 3-wood. The first off the tee saw him perfectly positioned on the left side of the fairway with 245 yards to the green. The second 3-wood [off the deck] not only found the dance floor, but left him a mere 8 feet from the flag. Cue a wonderfully paced putt and the ball dropped for a 3 and a momentous Eagle. CONGRATULATIONS.
kev murphy
eagle - 13th hole [par 5] - carden park [nicklaus course] - 12/07/2015
A tough 501 yard par 5 [stroke index 7] was destroyed with two majestic shots. The tee shot a towering 278 yard swipe of the driver that landed sweetly in the centre of the fairway and then a delightful 4 iron going 205 yards and landing 6 to 8 feet from the pin. A slippery downhill putt was dispatched to round off a superbly played hole.
kevin givnan
hole in one - 8th hole [par 3] - dunham forest golf club - 18/04/2015
A tough 150 yard par 3 that was in to a stiff breeze and caught out a number of people on the day. Kev selected a 6 iron and decided to swing nice and easy, sending his ball green bound and 'all over the flag'. One bounce and it dropped into the cup.
What is even more remarkable is that this is Kevin's 2nd hole in one in the space of 7 months, having had his first ever success at our Childwall event in October 2014

andy roper
hole in one - 16th hole [par 3] - north wales golf club - 17/03/2015
A 140 yard par three from an elevated tee into a bowl type green that gave a blind shot of the green. A lovely "swish" of a 9 iron and the ball was sent sailing towards the target. No one knew the final result until they walked to the green and there was no trace of Andy's ball on the green or surrounding area. Paul Davies Snr said "Check in the hole" to which he was met with a response of "behave".....Paul looked into the hole to see Andy's ball nestled sweetly inside. Bunkers second ever hole in one and coming at consecutive events. The first Eagle of 2015 too. Well done.
